Honesty over hype
We do not use scarcity tactics or inflated claims. If something has limits, we say so. Our product descriptions are written by people who use and test the items.
About
Our story
Bonatex began with a single frustration: the most important surface in a home — the bed — is typically the one treated with the least consideration.
The founders, a pair of industrial designers who had spent time working with European spa operators, noticed that the quality of sleep in well-designed wellness environments was categorically different from what most people experienced at home. The difference was not magic. It was temperature, pressure distribution, and the texture of the materials surrounding the body.
Bonatex was founded to make those principles accessible — not as a luxury product positioned for aspiration, but as a considered system for rest, specified and priced for people who use it every night.
We are still a small company. We work with independent hotels, wellness architects, and private clients. We do not have a showroom in every city. We do have a very good understanding of what sleep should feel like.
What guides us
We do not use scarcity tactics or inflated claims. If something has limits, we say so. Our product descriptions are written by people who use and test the items.
Every fabric, every fill, every chamber is specified for performance first. We do not add materials for the appearance of luxury — only for what they contribute to rest.
Our shortest-cycle product is a towel rated for 200 washes. Our water bed chambers are designed to outlast any mattress you've owned. Durability is sustainability.
We are not an omnipresent brand. We do not chase trends or release seasonal collections. We iterate quietly when there is something genuine to improve.

On sustainability
We are not going to describe Bonatex as "sustainable" in a sweeping way. Manufacturing physical goods has environmental cost. Shipping internationally has environmental cost. We try to be honest about that.
What we do prioritise: longevity. A water bed system that lasts 20 years is better than four foam mattresses that each last five. A towel rated for 200 washes that improves with age is better than fast-turnover terry. We believe durability is the most genuine sustainability claim a product can make.
Where we can do better — reducing packaging, using renewable energy in our supply chain, achieving B Corp certification — we are working on it. We will not announce it until it is done.
